Locality: Kunkel State Wildlife Management Area located just west of Princeton approximately 4.75 miles off 160th St. NW along south side of a tributary that runs northeast into Battle Brook Creek, T36N R27W SE 1/4 SE 1/4 Sec. 34.

Associated species: Cornus sericea, Populus tremuloides, Spiraea alba, Spiraea tomentosa and numerous other Salix species
Comment: Seed collection from two specimens separated by a distance of approximately ten feet. Extremely low percentage (<40%) of flowering/fruiting Salix serissima noted within the population in 2018. Despite being a dioecious species, "many specimens that flowered in 2017 did not flower in 2018" (L. Larson, pers. comm., 20 Nov. 2018).

Comment: Recollection. Additional genetics from specimen approximately 1.25 miles southeast of collection made in 2018.
