Environment description: Dry ridge top. Old-growth remnant woods historically and currently utilized as cattle pasture.
Number of plants sampled: 5
Associated species: Quercus macrocarpa, Tilia americana, Carya cordiformis, Carya ovata, Ulmus americana, Corylus americana, Juglans nigra, and Quercus velutina. Nearby Prunus americana, Viburnum lentago, Lonicera maackia, and Rosa multiflora.
Comment: Majority of trees (except U. americana) in this area are 24-36” d.b.h. and approximately 75-85’ in height. Coordinates refer to the central location of the population harvested. Coordinates for each mother tree sampled may be provided upon request.
