Selected as a tall mutant from an EMS-induced tetraploid wheat TILLING population of 'Kronos' (PI 576168) (Uauy et al., 2009). The mutant line (T4-934) carries a E529K mutation in the C-terminal PFYRE motif of RHT-B1b, and was backcrossed twice to Kronos to reduce background mutations. BC1F3 seeds from homozygous E529K BC1F2 lines were selected for submission
