Narrative
Purple plant color, white pericarp, thin mesocarp, no awns. Three dwarf in height. Days to 50% anthesis 2-4 days earlier than Tx2783 and RTx430. Restores fertility (R-line) in A 1 cytoplasm. Moderate to high level of resistance to sugarcane aphid [Melanaphis sacchari (L.) Zehntner).
