Comment: Shurbs, bud tomentose with white soft hairs. Branchlets dark green, with small curved prickles. Leaves simple, blade orbicular, margin serrulate, apex acuminate, base cordate, adaxially dark green, glabrous, abaxially with curved prickles along veins. Inflorescences terminal, rachis, sepal densely tomentose with white hairs. Fruit black at maturity
