Comment: Habitat: Bog. Plants on mounds 15-30 cm high in the center of the bog. Associated plants are Carex spp., Sphagnum spp., Spiraea douglasii. Surrounding forest with Thuja plicata, Abies amabilis, Pinus monticola, Pseudotsuga menziesii. Plant DescriptionL typical for species, except that some plants have extra large leaves. Fruit present and typical. No flowers. Leaves collected for genetic analysis. Evaluation of location suitability as an in situ genetic reserve. Ease of access: easy, distance from other populations: far: perceived health of population, intermediate.
