Locality: Turn onto Crowley Rd off Hwy 20/26 from Vale to Burns,OR (close to Harper). Once on Crowley Rd, go 25.5 miles then turn W, go 4.5 miles and turn N, go 2.3 miles (stay straight at 1.1 miles) and turn N, then go .5 miles to site.

Environment description: Collection site is a steep slope with a western aspect and clay loam soil with cobbly surface. Site is from mid-slope to the toe of ridge. Area moderately grazed. Site is in Omernik Ecoregion, Level IV- Dissected High Lava Plateau(80a)
Number of plants sampled: 17
Associated species: Artemisia tridentata, Poa bulbosa, Agropyron spicatum, Crepis sp., Bromus tectorum, Chrysothamnus nauseosa, Balsamorhiza sagittata.
Comment: Original seed collected in 2006 from 17 plants as individuals(4-15 seed per plant, 190 seed total). Seed was started in 2007 for molecular marker work. The 32 surviving seedlings were saved for regeneration and tranplanted to the field in spring 2009.
