Comment: DESCRIPTION: Herbaceous perennial to 3.5 feet tall, spreading underground to form patches along roadside; foliage greyish, giving off a spicy scent when rubbed or bruised. Many seed capsules predated by boring insect, but this colony is the only one found with intact seed.; SUB-COUNTRY GEO 1: ; SUB-COUNTRY GEO 2: Quba District (Rayon); SUB-COUNTRY GEO 3: Zardabi Village; COLLECTOR'S NUMBER: AZB-2008-044; MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION ABOUT WILD COLLECTION: Azeris claim that their native G. glabra is a unique type; Vahid (if I remember right) knows the person who did their Ph.D. work characterizing the plants.;
