Locality: Arc of Appalachia Preserve System: Highlands Nature Sanctuary, Listening Trail off State Route 753, on a bluff above tributary to Rocky Fork Creek.

Environment description: Rich deciduous forest over limestone, on a bluff above creek tributary.
Associated species: Acer sp.; Carya sp.; Magnolia acuminata; Carpinus caroliniana; Fraxinus sp.; Trillium sp.; Hydrophyllum sp.; Dioscorea sp.
