Locality: Arc of Appalachia Preserve System: Highlands Nature Sanctuary, Appalachian Forest Museum trail down near Rocky Fork Creek.
Habitat: Wild Habitat
Environment description: Frequent on the limestone bluffs and boulders under a deciduous canopy in the cool of Rocky Fork Creek.
Associated species: Tsuga canadensis; Tilia sp.; Liriodendron tulipifera; Thuja sp.; Hydrangea arborescens; Asplenium rhizophyllum; Cystopteris bulbifera
Comment: DESCRIPTION: Typically sized plants with green fruit, some of which fell off at a touch, some had to be knocked off.
