Locality: Outside Sheki in mountainous area, growing on almost sheer rock cliff next to road.
Habitat: Wild Habitat
Environment description: Somewhat shaded stone cliff, in small crevices
Associated species: Hyssopus angustifolius; Erysimum sp.

Comment: DESCRIPTION: Beautiful plants growing out of crevices and hanging/tumbling down; stems ca. 1' long, branching, originating from central crown; leaves small and leathery, appearing all along stem; stems bearing highly attractive, starry, open-faced flowers of purplish-blue, in full bloom in late summer.; SUB-COUNTRY GEO 1: ; SUB-COUNTRY GEO 2: Sheki District; COLLECTOR'S NUMBER: AZB-2008-105; MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION ABOUT WILD COLLECTION: Wasn't sure if seed was mature at time of collection, had to be dried carefully. Species is unlike any other I've seen.;
