Environment description: Full sun along the river on a sandy berm above the stream in a disturbed area of a mixed deciduous and evergreen maritime forest occasionally inundated by tidal salt water.

Comment: DESCRIPTION: Multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with upright spreading habit approximately 10 ft. tall. Plant has large trusses of stipitate glandular white flowers with a prominent yellow blotch and a pale pink tube.
