Environment description: Localised in sun on moist medium loam on the edge of a pond close to farmland in the hedgerow with Hydrangea paniculata.
Associated species: Hydrangea paniculata.
Soil Moisture: Moist; Soil Texture: Loam
Comment: From a deciduous tree to 8 m by 6 m with narrow-oblong leaf to 8 cm by 4 cm, mid-green above and light green below. Brown, irregularly cylindrical fruit to 6 cm by 3 cm. Field collection number: BCJMMT 279.
