Environment description: Full sun along the river on a sandy berm above the stream in a disturbed area of a mixed deciduous and evergreen maritime forest occasionally inundated by tidal salt water.

Comment: DESCRIPTION: Deciduous vine with perennial woody stem. Plant about 10� long and growing on shrubs with clinging tendrils. The 2� flower is dark blue at the base and pale blue at the tips of the petals with a dark purplish pedicel approximately 4� long.
