Environment description: Deciduous woods near river on northeast-facing slope.
Number of plants sampled: 3
Associated species: Liquidambar styraciflua, Prunus serotina, Acer pensylvanicum, Acer rubrum, Carpinus caroliniana, Euonymus atropurpureus, and Halesia carolina.
Aspect: Northeast
Comment: Noted approximately 15-20 trees. Collected with Brackman, B.

Specimens sampled in nature were multi-stemmed, large shrubs to small trees measuring approximately 4-5 meters tall, with light-gray bark, medium green leaves and black-blue fruits.
