Narrative
Andean common bean germplasm line PRA154 has a determinate upright growth habit Type I. It is a medium maturity bean requiring 95 to 100 days in southern Idaho. PRA154 is resistant to Sclerotinia sclerotiorum (causes white mold disease) isolates ARS12D, ARS14D, ARS14M, ARS15T, CO467, ND710, and NY133. PRA154 has beige mottled seeds with 100 seeds weighing 48.9 g.

Description:
Andean common bean germplasm line PRA154 was selected from the double-cross population VA 19/M0162//A 195/G 122. Pedigree selections were made against multiple pathogen isolates for white mold resistance until harvest maturity in the F1-derived families (F1:2 to F1:4) and advanced breeding lines (i.e., F6:7 to F6:9) in the greenhouse, using modified cut-stem method of inoculation.
