Narrative
“Uzun” (Reg. No. ???, PI ???) is a sesame cultivar with a high yield and light brown seeds. It was registered with National Variety Registration and Seed Certification Center in Turkey in 2013 and released by Akdeniz University and the West Mediterranean Agricultural Research Institute. It is highly suitable for main and second crop farming and exhibits moderate tolerance to phyllody phytoplasma, Rhizoctonia solani infection, fusarium and verticillium wilt
