Environment description: Sandy savanna.
Associated species: Quercus stellata, Carya pallida, Quercus marilandica, Opuntia humifusa, Toxicodendron pubescens, Zanthoxylum americanum, Diodea teres, and Andropogon ternarius.
Comment: Group of approximately 150 stems, 20 fertile, with an estimated total of 150 fruits among fertile plants. Trees between 8 and 15 feet in height, with a d.b.h of an estimated 10 inches. Many fruits dropped with light shaking of tree, others were pulled (09/14/2016).
