Locality: About 5 miles NE of Cold Springs, take Alpine exit off Hwy 50 between mile-marker 85-86 onto "Old Overland Route." From Hwy, 1.6 miles to first ranch continue to 5.7 miles to second ranch and at 6.9 miles turn E up War Canyon. At fork in road turn left up South Fork, at about 10.7 miles plants scattered around road and especially on slope toward drainage to SW and at about 11.3 miles, plants just above large boulder (bottom coordinates) and additional collections up along the road for another half mile or more. Juniper, cheatgrass, sagebrush. T20N R59E Sec18-SW, T20N R36E Sec13-SE.
