Associated species: Euonymus latifolius (listed as E. leiophloeus); Rhamnus imeretina; Cornus mas; Rubus sp.; Corylus avellana; Matteuccia struthiopteris; Urtica dioica; Rosa canina.
Comment: Deciduous trees to 2 m tall. Seed collected from 19 individuals. 2500+ seeds and one herbarium voucher collected.
