Narrative
According to the donor (email of 10/09/2015): "[CS14] is an accession I received as budwood from CSIRO when they closed their citrus breeding program. They had received it MANY years previous from the Indian Council for Agricultural Research, presumably as seed, and presumably from an Indian germplasm collection. I thoguht it mgiht be useful to you because it is one of the accessions used in the Bayer et al paper, so if you ever wanted to examine truly wild material (ie
10Q87
) against supposed species that had been used in past molecular studies (and were of doubtful wild origin), then CS14 would be a useful example." Unfortunately, this accession did not establish. (RR Krueger, 11/18/2015)
