Locality: Growing on the top of a hill to the south of Ba Be Lake, semi-open exposure.

Comment: Climbing shrub about 1 m tall; 1 cm diameter thick upright branching stems, Rugose leaves upper surface, raised reticulate veination underneath; yellow tomentose underneath, stipules on linear, capillary, caducous. Scattered prickles on stems and petiole. leaves somewhat orbicular with palmately lobed (5-lobes rounded); 5 pairs of veins, petioles 3 - 7 cm.
