Locality: Near one of the inlets of Ba Be Lake, on path above Bac Ngai Village Nam Mau Camun, uphill above houses. This species was frequent on the side of the trail.

Comment: Leaves simple markedly lobed, angular lobes, acuminate. Stipules on stem lanceolate, divided, large bracts, hairs on stem, tomentum underneath. Recurved prickles.
