The original seed lot has two kinds of seeds. The most frequent are 1.5 mm wide Che. BER with a golden-brown adherent pericarp and black pitted testa. No yellow area was observed around the style. The less frequent are 1.0 mm wide with non-adherent pericarp and black rugose testa that might be C. pratericola. David Brenner, April 2020. 10 Mar 2020.
Observation Data Added:
The lower earliest leaf blades are purple farinose on their under-sides, the later, upper, blades are not purple farinose. The blade shapes are variable, more or less elongated. Observed by David Brenner on growing greenhouse plants in winter 2020 row 629. 11 Mar 2020.
