Environment description: Dry, peaty soil. Growing in Palms muck soils in association amongst an extremely dense thicket of Ambrosia trifida and Urtica gracilis.
Number of plants sampled: 3
Associated species: Rhamnus cathartica, Phalaris arundinacea, Morus alba, Salix sp., Cornus sericea, Betula pumila (3 genets), Populus deltoides and Populus tremuloides.
Comment: Only four specimens of Betula x sandbergii noted at this site.
