Locality: Shaanxi Province: Mei Xian: Ying Tou, Hong He Gu Forest Park; north-running stream valley.

Environment description: north-running stream valley; mesic, mixed deciduous forest, 45 degrees, W, on rock face
Comment: Multi-stemmed shrub, grown back from coppicing. Height: 5m. D.B.H.: largest ~13cm. Bark: grey. Leaves: opposite; compound; 25cm-50cm long; 9-15 leaflets. Fruit: circular samara, 2cm wide x 3cm long., Photographed. Three herbarium specimens collected. Chinese call this "money maple". Grown back from coppicing. Samples collected from one plant.
