Environment description: heavily grazed, open, shrub chapparal, 45 degrees, S, very thin and very rocky
Comment: Shrub, height 3-4 meters; very upright branches and habit. Bark tan-gray. Leaves somewhat obovate; 2 centimeters wide by 3 centimeters long. Fruit red turning to purple-black; 1 centimeter in diameter.
