Environment description: Mesic, mixed deciduous/coniferous forest; broad, north-running valley with fast stream., 45 degrees, E, Thin, rocky, Growing in association with Picea wilsonii, Tsuga chinensis, Abies recurvata var. ernestii, Pinus, Betula, Kerria japonica, Acer, Hydrangea longipes
Comment: Shrub, 2-3 m high by 2-3 m wide. Bark green. Leaves trifoliate; leaflets 3 cm wide by 8 cm long. Fruit: dry, brown, flat legume; 9 cm long., Numbers 059-061 were found in one fork of Mou Gou valley and numbers 062-065 were found in a second fork of the same valley.
