Environment description: mesic, mixed deciduous/coniferous forest; broad, north-running valley with fast stream. #059-061 were found in one fork of Mo gou valley and #062-065 were found in a second fork of the same valley., 45 degrees, N, thin, rocky,
Comment: Tree; height 8 meters, D.B.H. 15 centimeters. Bark silver-gray, furrowed. Leaves green above, 2 silver bands below; 2.5 centimeters long. Fruit green, upright cones; 4 centimeters wide by 8 centimeters long., Collected from two plants, one alive, one cut down. One (1) herbarium specimen collected. Numbers 059-061 were found in one fork of Mou Gou valley and numbers 062-065 were found in a second fork of the same valley. Many larger specimens of Abies are nearby, but not accessible.
