Environment description: Virgin, remnant diverse prairie. Both extremely sandy and wet habitats. Colo-Ely complex (0-5 percent slopes) depth to water table: 0-12 inches, 0-11 inches: silty clay loam, poorly drained; and Sparta loamy fine sand (5-9 percent slopes) depth to water table: more than 80 inches, 0-8 inches: loamy fine sand, excessively drained
