Locality: East side of Bennoch Road, just north of where Pushaw Stream crosses Bennoch Road, approximately 3 miles northwest of Old Town, Penobscot County.

Environment description: Roadside. Disturbed area on the upper portion of a west-facing slope. Specimens sampled were approximately 2.5-3.6 m tall and multi-stemmed. Most fruits on upper branches were dark blue, many fruits on lower branches were still white. Plants appeared to be in good health, without obvious insect or disease problems at the time of collection.
Number of plants sampled: 3
Comment: Growing in association with Robinia pseudoacacia, Populus tremuloides, Quercus rubra, Prunus serotina, Prunus virginiana, Rhys typhina, Fraxinus pennsylvanica, Pinus strobus, Spiraea alba, Crataegus sp., and Rhamnus frangula.
