Environment description: Collection site is a stony slope. Population is probably weedy.
Number of plants sampled: 50
Associated species: Rumex sp., Cichorium intybus, Agropyron repens, Elytrigia trichophora.
Comment: Seed collected from 50 plants in a populations of approximately 50 plants found in a 200 sq m area. Lactuca plants were frequent and irregularly distributed at this site. Plants were biennial, up to 1 m high, inflorescence more or less branched. Stems white, aspirate. Leaves lanceolate, pinnate-acute-lobate, rarely entire, hard, dark green. Inflorescence lax paniculate. Capitula 10-12mm long. Flowers yellow. Plants well developed. Part of them have sub-entire leaves.
