Environment description: Collection site is a stony slope of a flat valley near a small river. Population weedy.
Number of plants sampled: 70
Associated species: Xanthium strumatium, Lathyrus tuberosus.
Comment: Seed collected from 70 plants in a population of approximately 100 plants found in a 600 sq meter area. Lactuca frequent and irregularly distributed at this site. Plants were biennial, up to 1.0 m high, branched. Stems whitish, aspirate. Leaves lanceolate, pinnate-acute-lobate, rarely entire, dark green. Inflorescence lax paniculate. Capitula 12 mm long. Flowers yellow. Plants well developed, in beginning fruiting stage.
