Environment description: Open Ulmus-Carya-Celtis woodland in very sandy soil on banks of stream.
Comment: Beckham County Small tree trunk branched into several spreading trunks, bark pale ash grey, smooth, with some furrows appearing near base; upper bank of river. Many fruit persist from last year, but the whole population did not flower this year; fruit dull dark red-brown, flesh sweet; Voucher for flow cytometry: nu DNA content of leaf tissue 0.851 pg (triploid);
