Environment description: north-running stream valley; mesic, moist forest., 45 degrees, E, thin, rocky, some organic matter
Comment: Mei Xian Shrub. Height: 1m. Bark: newest growth green. Leaves: opposite; simple; ovate; coarsely dentate margins; long petioles; 9cm wide x 15cm long. Fruit: panicles of small capsules with sterile florets., Photographed. Three herbarium specimens collected. Samples collected from one plant.
