Environment description: mesic, mixed deciduous/coniferous forest; SE running stream through fairly steep ravine; collected on the side of the stream that was heavily grazed and cut. The opposite side of the stream remained in excellent forest in good condition., 30 degrees, S, rocky, organic clay,
Comment: Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Tewo County (Diebu County) Shrub, height 2 meters. Bark smooth, tan. Leaves elliptic; entire margin; 2 centimeters wide by 4 centimeters long. Fruit red, approximately 1 centimeter in diameter., Collected from 2 plants.
