Narrative
This is one of 13 accessions collected in India by Manjunath Keremane that he thought might be HLB resistant (RRUT 517 - 526, RSD 2013001 - 2013003). Notes from the collector: "No disease symptoms observed. However, CTV is likely to be present. The tree has remained healthy in an area severely affected by HLB since 1960s. It would be very valuable to citrus industry if this accession shows resistance to Florida isolate of HLB. No visible HLB symptoms, very healthy looking tree in an area where Coorg mandarin industry and most citrus varieties have been completely destroyed by HLB in 1990s. Pictures of tree are available. Tree is about 40 feet tall, bears lots of fruits. Fruits are low seeded." (RR Krueger, 2013-07-10)
