Plants are seedlings of 38 parent trees from three different locations - Nebraska, South Dakota, and Montana. Also known as Hunter Germplasm Ponderosa Pine; the Woody Landscape Plant Germplasm Repository has a detailed decription of the germplasm in the form of a written report by the NRCS site in Bridger.
