Environment description: Mixed mesophytic hardwood forest; Adiantum capillus-veneris, Aquilegia canadensis, Erigeron sp., Hepatica nobilis var. americana, Hydrangea quercifolia, Platanus occidentalis, Trillium underwoodii.

Comment: This species is abundant only on the limestone bluff facing the Apalachicola River. Cuttings collected from 6 plants.
