Environment description: Sandy Oak Savannah; Plants distributed on S side of "sand bowl" in the middle of the preserve; Quercus velutina, Tephrosia virginiana, Vaccinium angustifolium, Asclepias tuberosa, Rubus ssp., Lupinus perennis, Sassafras albidum, Pteridium aqualinum.
Comment: Probably the largest population of this species left in Ohio. Number of plants found 300.
