Narrative
BC 93-16-43 (Kanata-B x Tulameen) is a cross between Tulameen and a wild Rubus strigosus seedling from just outside of Ottawa, Ontario. It is somewhat thorny and has a distinctive waxy pubescence on the canes. The fruit are small, soft, and medium red in color with excellent flavor. BC 93-16-43 has excellent resistance to root rot (on par with `Latham? in our greenhouse inoculations) has resistance to all biotypes of Amphorophora agathonica that have been identified to date, and also has resistance to raspberry bushy dwarf virus.
