Narrative
Renner is distinguished from other St. Augustine grass cultivars by 1) its superior turfgrass quality, 2) significantly shorter and finer leaf texture and shorter internode diameter, 3) significantly better recovery from prolonged drought stress, 4) superior salinity tolerance, 5) superior shade tolerance, 6) resistance to Panicum Mosaic virus causing St. Augustine Decline disease, 7) wide geographical adaptation, and 8) good sod harvest and rapid re-growth capabilities.
