Environment description: Variable habitats: dry, rocky slopes and also near small creek in gravelly soils.
Number of plants sampled: 7
Associated species: Celtis occidentalis, Cornus alternifolia, Fraxinus americana, F. nigra, Juglans nigra, Prunus serotina, Quercus alba, and Viburnum trilobum.
Comment: Majority of Fraxinus nigra dead or dying due to Emerald Ash Borer damage at time of collection.
