Narrative
Saluki 4910 is an F5 selection from the cross of 'Pana' and TN96-58 that advanced from the F2 generation by the modified single-seed descent method. It is late maturity group IV (relative maturity 4.9) soybean line with indeterminate growth habit, white flowers, gray pubescence, tan pods at maturity, Off-yellow seed coats, and buff hila. Saluki 4910 was released due to its competitive yield and resistance to SeN HG Type 0 (Race 3), SDS, frogeye leaf spot (FLS) and stem canker.

Description:
'Saluki 4910' originated from a cross between 'Pana' and TN96-58. TN96-58, which was produced from crossing 'Hutcheson' x TN89-39, was used for its superior yield and resistance to stem canker, soybean mosaic virus, and southern root-knot nematode. TN96-58 does not show any resistance to soybean cyst nematode or to sudden death syndrome. Pana is from the cross of 'Jack' with Asgrow 'A3205' and was used due to its high yield and soybean cyst nematode resistance.
