Locality: Baku City, Central Botanical Garden.
Comment: Small shrub (possibly pruned) to 3' high and wide with healthy, slightly lustrous, dark green leaves and corymbs of very ornamental, elongated orange-red fruits covering the plant., Surrounded by modern hybrid roses and almost certainly pollinated by them. Hips given by Vahid Farzaliyev, deputy director of Cent. Bot. Gdn.
