Locality: Gansu Province: Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Tewo County (Diebu County), Coll. north of Lazikou.

Environment description: mesic, mixed deciduous/coniferous forest; SE running stream through fairly steep ravine; collected on the side of the stream that was heaavily grazed and cut. The opposite side of the stream remained an excellent forest in good condition., 15 degrees, N (but in full sun), very thin; growing on rock face,
Comment: Shrub, height 1 meter; arching branches. Bark dark brown. Leaves glossy, green above; 1 centimeter wide by 1.5 centimeters long. Fruit bright red, 0.5 centimeters in diameter.
