Environment description: Upland woods. 30% slope with a western aspect.
Number of plants sampled: 7
Associated species: Acer saccharum, Celtis occidentalis, Gleditsia triacanthos, Juglans nigra, Lonicera maackia, Prunus serotina, Quercus alba, Q. rubra, Ribes, Symphoricarpos orbiculatus, Tilia americana, and Ulmus sp.
Comment: Very localized population consisting of a ratio of 3:1 non-fruiting to fruiting. Seed set at time of collection was minimal. Some coffeetrees seemed to have health issues (dying branches). Approximately 75 specimens noted. Latitude, longitude, and elevation averaged between all specimens sampled. Coordinates for each mother tree may be provided upon request.
