Locality: Gansu Province, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Tewo County, Coll. north of Lazikou.
Coordinates: 34.1330, 103.8845 (Map it)
Environment description: mixed deciduous/coniferous forest; steep-walled gorge running north-south, 45 degrees slope, E, rocky silt-loam
Comment: Tree; coppiced with multiple trunks; height 8 meters, D.B.H. 12 centimeters for largest. Bark silvery tan, smooth. Leaves nearly deltate with truncate base and coarsely serrate margins; apiculate tip; 4 centimeters wide by 7 centimeters long. Fruit borne in multiples; very small; less than 0.5 centimeters wide by 0.5 centimeters long.
