Comment: Shrubs to approx. 5 ft. high, foliage glaucous, small, fern-like; hips large (to 1.5" wide), shining black, flattened sphere to pear-shaped; appearance typical of Rosa spinosissima., Collected as Rosa azerbajdshanica (which would mean it is actually R. pulverulenta a.k.a. R. glutinosawhich it is not even closely related to), plants appear to be Rosa spinosissima or a variant thereof.
