Locality: Koenig Creek crossing, Medina Lake Road, 0.75 mile below Medina Dam, Uvalde area, Medina County.
Elevation: 283m.
Environment description: Creek bottom. Very rocky and wet. 1% slope with full exposure. Tarrant rock outcrop soil. Average annual precipitation of 28.46 inches. Associated with Johnson grass, side-oats grama, Texas grama, and three-awn grass.
Comment: Dry, mature seed was difficult to find at time of collection due to shattering.
